Spag Meatballs (under £5)
Ingredients
500g beef mince
1 onion
1 tsp tomato paste
1 can chopped tomatoes
300g spaghetti

Instructions
Heat a pan and begin to roll and compress your mince into meat balls.
​
Cook for 5 minutes or until they start to brown. Add in your onions, stir well and cook for a further 2 minutes.
​
Add in your chopped tomatoes and tomato paste and stir well.
Fill the empty tin with boiling hot water and add to the pan.
​
Place your spaghetti into the pan, add in more water to cover if needed.
​
Cover and allow to cook for a further
​
10/12 minutes or until your pasta is cooked.
Healthier Chicken Katsu Curry
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
80g breadcrumbs
2 beaten eggs
40g of flour
Lettuce
Cucumber, sliced
Rice to serve
For the Katsu sauce:
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp milk
100g mayonnaise (light if possible)
2 tbsp curry powder
Instructions
Set up three bowls, one with the flour, one with the whisked egg and the last with breadcrumbs.

Take your chicken breast and cover in flour, then dip in egg before finally covering in breadcrumbs.
​
You can cook in the air fryer for 15 minutes, in the oven for 25 minutes or fry in a pan, until cooked.
​
Meanwhile, cook your rice as per instructions.
You can also start to make your sauce by combining soy sauce, honey, milk, mayo and curry powder. Stir until smooth.
​
When rice and chicken is cooked, cut your lettuce and cucumber to serve. Slice the chicken on top of the rice and drizzle over your sauce.
Turkey Meatballs
Ingredients
500g turkey mince
50g breadcrumbs
2 onions, one diced and one quartered
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 peppers, quartered
Optional salad
Pitta breads
Instructions
Mix your mince, 1 chopped onion, breadcrumbs and garlic together in a bowl. Gently combine well.

Roll into meatballs and pop to one side.
​
Chop your peppers and remaining onion into quarters.
​
Start to thread your meatballs and veg on to your skewers evenly.
Pop in the air fryer for 8 minutes on 180 or until cooked through.
​
You can also pop these on the BBQ!
Pasta Jars
Ingredients
125g flour
40g butter
60ml milk
60g cream cheese
1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
20g grated cheese
Instructions
In a bowl combine the flour and butter until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Slowly add in your milk, saving a tsp to brush over your pizza rolls at the end.

Roll your dough out flat.
In a smaller bowl combine your cream cheese and sweet chilli sauce.
Spread this cream cheese mix over your rolled dough before sprinkling over your cheese.
​
Roll your dough by tucking in the end until you form a sausage shape.
Cut this evenly into small circles.
​
Brush over with your milk.
Cook in the air fryer on 200 for 12-15 minutes or in the oven until cooked through.

Hidden Veg Cottage Pie
Ingredients
250g mince
2 onions, chopped
2 chopped carrots
1 grated courgette
100g porridge oats
2 beef stock cubes
2 tbsp gravy granules
1kg potatoes, mashed
Instructions
Boil your potatoes in a pot.
​
In a separate heated pot add in your mince, onions and stock cubes.
Fry until they start to brown. Add in your carrots and courgette until they start to soften for approx 2 minutes.
​
Add in your porridge oats and stir through. Add some boiling hot water to cover the ingredients. Stir well and cook for 20 minutes.
​
When your potatoes have softened, mash them, add in a dash of milk and a bit of butter if you have it to hand.
​
Add in gravy granules to the mince dish and stir well until the water starts to thicken.
​
Layer an oven proof dish with the meat dish first. Top with your mash.
Cook in the oven for 180c for 20 minutes.
Hidden Veg Chilli
Ingredients
400g mince
100g lentils
2 carrots
2 courgettes
2 onions, chooped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 tin kidney beans
1 tsp chilli powder
400 ml beef stock
rice to serve
Instructions
In a large pot add your mince and onions. Fry for a couple of minutes before adding in your garlic and chilli, stir and fry for a further 5.
​
Add in your grated vegetables and cook for a couple of minutes before adding in your stock, lentils and chopped tomatoes.
​
Bring the dish to a boil then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
​
Cook your rice, meanwhile add your kidney beans to your mince and heat through until your rice is ready.
